History:
Mudgator Manufacturing was founded in 2005. Mudgator is located in Waterproof, Louisiana near the Mississippi River, home of the swamplands that covers a large majority of the southeast today. It is home to a large resident population of waterfowl and millions of migrating birds, as well as reptiles of all kinds. This shoreline waterway hosts hundreds of miles of swamps with marshes that contain some of the best swamp motor terrain in the USA. Our low lying sea levels, lakes, great rivers like the Mississippi and Red, along with dozens of waterfowl enclosures, provide some of the most challenging swamp motor country anywhere. Swamp motors are being developed to tackle bayou mud, thick mats of weeds, swamps, and marsh filled estuaries along the river and coast. It is here, where the world's finest most affordable mud motors are becoming a necessity.

The Company:
Today, MudGator releases a new more affordable swamp motor. MudGator is rapidly catching on around the world, and our products will be seen at more and more throughout marine outlets across North America. MudGator will become a hunting equipment of necessity with waterfowl associations across the country. We strive to build a better more efficient and affordable motor and are expecting to be so well received by a public waiting for something better, others won’t even see us coming.

Why we build the MudGator so strong and light:
The Bayou's and river systems throughout the southeast are some of the most difficult terrain to manuvor. Because we travel so far between marshes and river systems, we were motivated to build the lightest and most powerful mud motors on the market..
